HORIZON 3

This sci-fi play follows the lives of Georgia Lawson, an astronaut, and Andy, an android, as they participate in a long term isolation study onboard the Horizon 3 station orbiting Neptune. As the study enters Phase 2, the pair discover that not only is the study perhaps more dangerous than they first believed, but also, they’re not as alone out there as they first thought. Exploring pertinent issues in our society through the lens of science, the play touches on women in NASA, artificial intelligence and the pressure to succeed in science. The piece is uproariously funny, all the while questioning the very definition of what it is to be a human being.
